On December 3-4, 2009 the planned audit on ISO 9001-2001 re-certification and ISO 9001-2008 certification was held at ITG 'BIG' by the auditors of TEST-St.Petersburg of the State Standard of the Russian Federation. All the examined departments got the 'excellent' and 'good' marks. Thus, ITG 'BIG' has successfully passed the ISO 9001-2008 certification. In the near future the company will get three international Certificates of Conformity:
Certificate of Conformity by the GOST R system;
IQNet Certificate;
SINCERT IAF Certificate (Italy).
November 2009:
ITG 'BIG' delegation took part in a traditional seminar of the suppliers of 'Group of companies 'Trek' - 'Time of changes 2009', which took place on November 27, 2009 in Miass of the Chelyabinsk region. 32 supplying organizations from different regions of Russia, including Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Belebey, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk, Zlatoust etc., took part in the seminar. The seminar was aimed not only to summarizing the results, but also to discussing the prospects of co-operating. Thus, during negotiations between ITG 'BIG' delegation and 'Group of companies 'Trek' Managers preliminary agreements on some interesting prospective projects were reached.
The acceptance of the concept of the long-term mutually beneficial co-operation by the participants can be considered to be the main result of the seminar.
On October 26-27, 2009 'Volkswagen Group Rus' plant held the Supplier's Day in Kaluga. This event was dedicated to the launch of the new model for the Russian market in May 2010. The main attention on the meeting was paid to the quality management system of the automobile components supplied to the plant. During 2 days the participants of the meeting familiarized themselves with the requirements of acceptance, visited the measuring and testing laboratories of the plant. The concern representatives represented their reports dedicated to the quality standards of 'Volkswagen' concern, suppliers' management, technical standards, suppliers' quality guarantees, logistics and purchasing specifics. ITG 'BIG' passed preliminary audit by the VW experts and is one of the few Russian suppliers of Volkswagen plant since 2009. ITG 'BIG' delegation took part in the work of the round tables on 'Logistics concept', 'Information systems', 'Automobile audit', 'Components quality' topics.
October 2009:
At the meeting of the Board of Chamber of Federal Institute for Industrial Property (Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks), which took place on the 22nd of October, patent ?36259 "Oil filter" was remained in force till August 2013. According to this patent formula, "BIG FILTER" plant produces unique filters with 2 filter curtains, one of which is placed in front of the overflow valve, and the second one - behind it. Among these filters are GB-1173 and GB-111, which are supplied by ITG 'BIG' to GAZ and ZMZ conveyors.
August 2009:
From the 26 till the 30 of August 'BIG FILTER' production was represented at the 5th international exhibition 'INTERAVTO', which took place at 'Krokus-Expo' exhibition complex in Moscow. On this exhibition special attention of the booth visitors was attracted by the popular foreign cars filters production project worked up by ITG 'BIG', and also by the represented production modernization programs. As a result of the exhibition, important agreements with many actual and potential customers were reached.
On August 26-30 ITG 'BIG' will be presenting 'BIG FILTER' products at the 5th International Exhibition 'INTERAUTO', which will take place in Moscow in 'Krokus-Expo' exhibition hall. We will be glad to invite all the exhibition visitors to 'BIG FILTER' booth.

June 2009:
On June 16, 2009, ITG 'BIG' got the conclusion on the results of the audit check concerning the possibility of receiving the 'Supplier certificate', which was effected by the auditors of automobile plant 'GAZ', which ITG 'BIG' has been supplying its production to already for many years. The results of the check showed that ITG 'BIG' is a reliable supplier, and in the report of the auditors group to the automobile plant it was recommended to develop further co-operation with our company. The check was effected at each stage of the production process by such parameters as 'Supplier's reliability', 'Warehousing of raw materials and delivery to production', 'Production of goods', 'Quality of goods', 'Actions with finished goods'. During the estimation ITG 'BIG' got high levels in all criterions.
In June 2009 the planned inspection check of the certification organ 'Test - S.-Petersburg' of the State Standard of the Russian Federation was held in ITG 'BIG'. The procedure of the audit check was held under the observation of Italian representative of the International Certification Organ. During the audit the correspondence of the inspection control of ITG 'BIG' business processes to the MOS requirements was checked, and the high level of the management of the company was confirmed.
The OAO 'AVTOVAZ' technical development department has hold the successful tests of GB-302 injection filters. According to the tests results, filter GB-302 is allowed for production and it received OEM-number 2112-1117010-05 (all outer details of the filter are made of corrosion-resistant steel). In the nearest future the shipments of this filter to the main conveyer of 'AvtoVAZ' for installation into injection cars will be started.
May 2009:
In May 2009 BIG FILTER Company started to supply its production to North Korea (Pyongyang). The filters are supplied in sets for installation to cars LADA Priora (fuel GB-320, oil GB-102í, air GB-9597C and cabin air GB-9833/ó), as well as to cars PAZ (fuel diesel filters GB-612, GB-6118, oil filter GB-1085, air filters GB-9292, GB-9233).

December 2008:
In December 2008 Industrial Trade Group 'BIG' was nominated by the management of 'Volkswagen AG' concern as a filter supplier for Volkswagen plant in Kaluga. It became possible due to the fact that the production standards of 'BIG FILTER' company completely correspond to the demands of the international automobile concerns and particularly to Volkswagen concern. This event became one of the first achievements in the process of implementation of the new strategic plan of ITG 'BIG' development, which is aimed to strengthen the co-operation with foreign car manufactures.
On the 23rd of December 2008 the staff of Industrial Trade Group 'BIG' celebrated the upcoming New Year at 'Art-Vokzal' club. Cozy atmosphere and good music made a festive mood and friendly climate for the out of office communication. Employees of the company participated in competitions and games, and won prizes and gifts.
Industrial-Trade Group 'BIG' systematically develops social programs for its employees, which is one of the priority lines in the activity of the company.
On the 12th of December 2008 a meeting took place in ITG 'BIG', which was dedicated to the ceremonial handing of certificates and rights of disposal of money on the individual accounts, specially opened in a non-governmental pension fund of one of the biggest Russian banks, to the assembly workers of the company.
The program of the company's participation in the retirement insurance was elaborated in 2006, when the company assumed obligations to transfer to each assembly worker monthly an additional certain sum of money, above his wages, to a special account, which after some agreed period will be handed to the disposal of the insurant worker.
The company is now proceeding with the started program. It has even increased such transfers, thereby stimulating the workers to carry out their work duties carefully and supporting them in the hard time of the economic crisis.
On the 9th of December the presentation of awards to the winners of the Second competition of Saint-Petersburg Government prize for achievements in the field of export of goods took place in the Marble Palace.
Industrial Trade Group 'BIG' was awarded with the Prize of Saint-Petersburg Government for the results of its work in the year 2007. It has already been the second prize which the company has got during the time of the competition existence. For the first time the achievements of ITG 'BIG' as the best exporter were recognized by the Government last year.
It is necessary to note that among the participants of the competition there were only companies which have shown the best results with the following characteristics: increase in export supplies volume, dynamics of increase in export supplies volume, increase in nomenclature of export products, increase of number of foreign customers, percentage of export supplies in the total volume of the products sold.

October 2008:
On the 20th of October 2008 the validity of patent for utility model ?36259, which enables to produce filters GB-111, GB-1162 and GB-1173 that have two filtering elements, has been prolonged.
Filter GB-111 is applied after major repair for running in the engines of cars GAZ (ZMZ-405 and ZMZ-406), VAZ 2101-07, VAZ 2108-09, VAZ 2110-12, VAZ 2121-214, NIVA-Chevrolet, Moskvitch 2141, UAZ-Hunter, ZAZ-Tavria and some foreign cars.
Filter GB-1162 is intended for UAZ cars with ZMZ engines.
Filter GB-1173 is installed in GAZ and UAZ cars.
In October 2008 the new fuel injection filter GB-3140 PL for FIAT Albea, Palio, Seicento, Siena, Strada came on sale.
September 2008:
ITG 'BIG' participated in the jubilee 20th International Exhibition Automechanika, which took place in Frankfurt am Main from the 16th till the 21st of September. Automechanika is one of the most important places where key persons of the automotive industry meet. This year more than 4600 exhibitors took part in this exhibition, and approximately 166 000 people visited it.
Participation in the exhibition let BIG Filter carry on plenty of effective negotiations with leading companies of the industry. At the moment it is safe to say that quality of 'BIG Filter' products is recognized to be the best at the international market. The introduction of new filters into production allowed to develop and strengthen collaboration with the company's partners, who take the leading positions at the filters market, and also to attract new partners.
During the exhibition negotiations with more than 170 representatives of different companies from 50 countries were carried on. It's very pleasant to establish the fact that in European countries interest to the products produced in Russia grows, and inscription 'made in Russia' on BIG Filter products is considered to be the quality surety.
An approval for the cabin filter GB-9831 (Lada Kalina, Chevrolet Niva), GME Standard 1303-3, was got from the European centre General Motors.

This article is devoted to the filter GB-111, which was worked up by 'BIG Filter' Company specially for breaking the engines in after major repairs. This filter is assigned for cars GAZ (ZMZ-405, ZMZ-406), Lada 2101-07, 2108-099, 2110-12, 2121-214, Chevrolet Niva, Moskvich-2141, UAZ 'Hunter' and ZAZ 'Tavria'.
June 2008:
GB-111: the first engine break-in filter in Russia
ITG 'BIG' has worked out a special construction of oil filter GB-111 for breaking the engines in after their major repair. In an ordinary filter, when inner increase of the working pressure of oil in the moment of engine starting happens, especially in cold weather, the pressure-relief valve starts working.
The unrefined oil goes to the engine and brings with itself the dirt, which was accumulated on filtering element. At the same time metal elements, formed as a result of friction of the engine parts during its breaking in, get into the oil system. All this brings the work of the oil filter to nothing.
The construction of filter GB-111 is different, as it has two filtering curtains (outer and inner) with metal frame between them. In an ordinary mode of work the oil filtration is accomplished through the outer curtain. When the engine starts, the pressure-relief valve begins working and oil begins to go through the inner curtain, which has an increased carrying capacity. Thus, the filtration is fulfilled constantly, and it is very important for the cars after the major repair. The only thing which should be remembered about is the necessity to change oil and oil filter after 1.5-2 thousand km have been done since the major repair.
This model of filter can be used for running the car in after the major repair of engines of the cars GAZ with engine ZMZ-405 and ZMZ-406, VAZ 2101-07, VAZ 2108-09, VAZ 2110-12, VAZ-2121-214, NIVA-Chevrolet, Moskvich 2141, UAZ-Hunter and also ZAZ-Tavria and some foreign cars.
The filter is on sale at the moment.

On May 22 - 25 'BIG FILTER' products were represented at 16th International Motor Show SIA'2008 in Kiev. It is the biggest auto exhibition in Ukraine, uniting more that 500 participating Companies of 27 countries. More than 285 thousand people visited the exhibition within 4 days.

March 2007:
Plastic injection filter GB-335PL is now supplied to 'GAZ' automobile plant. These filters are designed for mounting on 'GAZ' cars with polyamide fuel pipes; they are ecological filters of new generation, which fully correspond to EURO-3 standards.
